Key of David

My heart knows that we are all called to the many things that God offers us. Through our own unique gifts and talents that only he could have deposited in us, we are working with him through the Holy Spirit to bring forth Glory to him. Let all things we consume ourselves with give him Glory. Through his grace to us through time we are able to do all kinds of different things for him and it should never become dull. We have the Word of God, We have the Holy Spirit to talk to, We have our Church to build up and encourage, We have people who have not heard the Good News of the Gospel, We have treasure to build up to heaven, we have time to arise a sweet smelling sacrifice to the Lord, We can worship him through song, pray in the spirit, prophesy over the nations and each other, be encouraged through others testimony and interpretation of the word, we can give to others, Like Paul explains how some people could not even look at moses face because of the Glory, then how much more Glory should we have in our lives because the Holy Spirit lives in us.

Paul says that we should not forget what happened to us on that day we were saved. David delighted so much in God, his hard times and good. Let us encourage one another like Paul who says that we are pressed from every side for doing the works of the Lord, but its ok because this light God has deposited in us, the same Glory light that radiated off Moses, is only held in a perishable container.
Paul tells the Corininthian church, I am not boasting at all, but there were days i went without food, i was stoned, shipwrecked, whipped, beaten thrown in jail and yet i know its all for his goodness, and soon I will be with the Lord.

In the excitement we have deep in our hearts to give, let us give in that moment we get excited about it Paul says, otherwise soon it will go away and the enemy may take it. In this continual fight we must remember that all objects, all persons all things of this earth are only temporary and to take heart the advantage that God has blessed us by his grace that we are finding joy in them always, never to take advantage of anything and think that it was by our own doing that we have what we have in front of us. All things are blessings by his grace. Isaiah says that the Lord says He can rebuke the sea and dry it up in a second. Isaiah says who are we to complain about anything? Does God not know what he is doing? Does the Clay say to the Potter, "You're doing it wrong?". Everything is placed by Gods mighty hand in our life, not to boast for ourselves but only for his goodness. Paul says we could in fact boast about many things, How God took him up into heaven once and shows him great visions and tells him things, but if I boasted I would be stupid to do so.

Revelations talks about the Key of David, beyond everything God gives us in spiritual gifts, the greatest gift of giving (His Son) and talents, treasures, reward, blessing and the great gift of salvation and many other promises that seem endless, because he in fact is endless in his kindness and Mercy and Grace, There is a Key. As of a few months ago I always considered it to be worship from the heart, for we know that God is searching our hearts for Genuine Worship, one translation I have reads in Psalms 33 The Lord gazes down from heaven where he lives. He has made their hearts and closely watches EVERYTHING they do" Other scriptures tell us he also judges our motives and affections.  David constantly asked God to search his heart for righteousness, and if there is any sin he in unaware of, please bring it to light. Pslams 52:23 says "But true praise is a worthy sacrifice; this really honors me. Those who walk my paths will receive my paths will receive salvation from the Lord"

We know that God loves Honor, in fact the angeles are continually singing around the throne in revelation 4:11
"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."
in Isaiah 22:22 it says
I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.
Then Revelation 3:7 says
"To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.

David says in Psalms 27:4  "
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
I believe since the Lord is searching our hearts and motives for true worship that gives him real Honor, the one true desire in Davids heart was truly to worship the Lord. And beyond all the great things we get to experience as Christians to hold a place of Honor in Gods heart, is also a desire of mine, and Like David I pray that the Lord search my heart and bring any darkness in there to light until all that is in my heart is that ONE desire.
